Concept for a wireless desktop control pod.
The ever increasing usage of computers in our day to day lives creates the need for quick and easy access to controls and features within and outside applications. Tools and devices that serve the need go a long way in helping us ensure we're at our productive best.
Seen here is a desktop control pod supporting gesture recognition and customization. It is designed to compliment modern desktop setups with its polished finish, sleek lines and unobstrusive appearance. The components are enclosed in a satin finished aluminium case. Interactions through gestures happen on the toughened glass on the top.
The device uses a reversible (type C) USB connector for charging, installation and updates. . The device also carries the necessary installion files and customization software.
The bottom is sealed with a rubber mat making the device resitant to slips.
The device supports single/multiple finger scrolling (circular - clockwise and anticlockwise), swipes (left an right) and palm muting. Contrlols can be customized with the included software.
